What is the best non-alcoholic drink which will help your concentrate on your studies more?

Clifford Riggleman: in your opinion where do you think is the best place to study/volunteer abroad rite now or within the next 2 years? ive been considering south america and south africa but specifically where is a good choice?

Cassondra Vanholland: Yeah, coffee is good, or you can try green tea. Some green tea gives me acid indigestion, though. There's a supplement called Gingko Bilboa Plus that is supposed to help the supply of blood to the brain. I use it with coffee and think it helps me focus. It has gingko, gotu kola and some other herbs. Cigarettes also really helped me get through writing some long essays, but I don't reccomend them. They started messing up my teeth, my throat started hurting and generally didn't feel good after 3 weeks of smoking, and I quit. The last suggestion I have is to try eating more whole grains. I know it's trendy these days to talk about whole grains, but they really do seem to make me feel healthier and more energetic. Www.spar! kpeople.com has a lot of information about eating healthy whole grains. Search for "energy" on their website. They explain that grains are complex carbohydrates that are broken down slowly providing energy throughout the day, as opposed to simple sugars that just provide a quick fix and then drop you on your a**. Other suggestions are to find a quiet place, or put on soothing music to block out any noise. Hope this helps....Show more

Jose Bouliouris: coffee

Coleman Coscia: All three subjects are tested on the MCAT.In my opinion, Biology I and II are a waste of time and should be eliminated as a prereq for med school. What you learn about humans in biology class will be covered in about a week at medical school.Either Chemistry of Biochemistry will be the most help to you in medical school..bio more than general. No major is 'more attractive' to a medical school. You'll still find that life sciences are the most common degrees, but that's only because the sch! ool advisers are still old school. Visit any medical school w! eb site that is a primary care oriented school and you'll find that the majority of them are advising students to only take the prereq science courses and major in a subject that is a personal interest. That's why you'll find people in med school that are English, history, art, music and literature majors. But there's nothing wrong with going with one of the sciences, either--if that's what floats your boat....Show more

Adan Alipio: Any citric juice. has loads of Vitamin C. keeps u young. keeps you awake.. because u will take to the lu.. once in every 40 minutes or so. cleans your intestine.. keeps the taste in your tongue..its really great..just do with it..

Mario Stricklan: Rosetta Stone. Find a pirated copy.

Jasper Mangel: No one program help you to learn that difficult language. The best thing is to find a Chinese person via Internet (according to your age and interests) and just to try a learning min. level by speaking with him/her by Skype. Of course,! they need know English to understand you... The best way is a practice.

Loriann Carrigan: I would like to know of a good program that anyone knows about that teaches you Mandarin and will offer to teach all of your courses in English such as your Science, Math, English, History classes. Thanks.

Amina Motzer: well, you can try expresso, if it is too strong for you, you can downgrade it abit to coffee, tea, juices...actually drink does not really help you concentrate on your studies more, instead, its yourself, as long as you have a will to study, you can do it easily... also, the environment you're in.... most people tend to study better in quiet environment...hope this helps.......Show more

Lu Snide: Hi,Biology is definitely the most relevant subject for medicine; all the separate subjects you study in the pre-clinical two years of the medical degree are branches of biology - anatomy, physiology, biochemistry (more chemistry though), histology, embryol! ogy, cytology, genetics. (I am referring to the curriculum of some yea! rs ago at London teaching hospitals - they may be slightly different elsewhere).Having said this, some med chools today are placing chemistry at the top of the list.In my view, biology or one of its major branches would be most useful.I hope this helps.Do send me an email if you would like to discuss further....Show more

Ayesha Genova: Tea............

Giovanna Sherlin: Fresh cold water: cold water is known to have more oxygen than warmer water, which is good for our brain.

Jose Bouliouris: coffee. If that fails, try cranberry juice. The tanginess wakes up the brain, although a bit less than a final-exam-grade coffee.

Amina Motzer: coffee addiction is not good for studies - although I recommend taking it early morning but not before sleep as it hurts your immunity.similarly, orange and cranberry juice is good enough

Caroyln Ebach: Coffee helps a lot, its keeps you awake and focus, but sometimes it doesn't work if you didn't have slept enough but! actually studying in a Quiet environment helps alot more that drinking soft drinks or non-alcoholic drinks.

Leann Villalta: Chocolate Yoo-hoo.

Mahalia Brindle: In my opinion, if you go to South America you should definitely visit Costa Rica. You can learn about it here:http://www.studyabroaddomain.com/Costa_Rica.aspxSouth Africa is a great location as well:http://www.studyabroaddomain.com/South_Africa.aspxJust remember that both places are notorious for hot weather, so be prepared with summer clothing!...Show more

Lynn Hollars: I would suggest China. Have a look at www.worldlinkedu.com

Fritz Hawkey: coffee is the best--it prevents u from falling asleep which generally happens while studying!!

Marya Fehn: Brand Essence of Chicken

Asley Quickle: what degree is best for medical school? and the mcats? BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS?or is it better to have a minor? Like Biochemistry, chem+physics ?PLEASE EXPLAIN And which one is more attr! active on a medical school application?.thank you...Show more
