any ideas on an african tortouise housing?plus their care/maintenance?seriuos answers only please,?

Houston Venezia: The specific type matters but also one has to know what the weather conditions are where you live and where you are planing on keeping it. If in your garden you have to consider what type of plants you have and if they can be harmful. We here in Africa can leave them outside the whole year round and only have to provide shade and basic shelter but if you live where it snows...

Romeo Tinnea: What specific species of African Tortoise is it? Sulcata? Care for a baby tort is fairly simple, but they can weigh as much as 200 pounds, so be sure you really want it. It will definitely outlive you and your daughter. www.Chelonian.org www.kingsnake.com

Agustina Stimmel: hurry, she'll be home from vacation soon.want to surprise her!

Devon Kalberer: Which kind of African tortoise? Egyptian? Sulcata? Hingeback? Leopard? Radiated? Some other kind? Each has special needs and would require a different set-up.Honestly, I hope it is NOT a hingeback- t! hey need high humidity approaching 100% and have other tricky needs. Sulcatas and Leopards are HUGE tortoises that can be really tough to care for and keep when they get big. I'd be glad to shoot plans and care ideas if you let us know the species.Good luck!...Show more

Jimmie Doerfler: i think it is a sulcata but i am not sure.any help?

What is the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eartha?

Josefine Weekey: I don’t think its fruit at all, perhaps a vegetable - a Zucchini maybe, a large over-grown Zucchini. (She's rather petite, don't ya know.)

Giovanna Cramblit: Islam is a perverse fiction invented by the false prophet Mohammad. Islam distorts the inspired Word of God and attempts to impove a racial identify through Ismail on the promises of God. Islam is no different than modern Zionism.

Mikel Bethay: is there freedom of religion in Islam if you are 14 and were born into the religion

Hunter Osterberger: You are indoctrinated from early childhood and must conform to it's rigid rituals. They do not accept non muslims, even if you convert, where as many religions in other countries welcome anyone into their religion or church with out having to convert to i! t. Many muslims have become very modern and want to live a peaceful life and practice their religion without the constraints of the vice police. similar that the protestants came to America. Traditional Muslims adhere to unfortunately a misguided interpretation of the original Koran and can't challenge it. It's sad..

Arnette Dominici: The essential question before us is can a person who is Muslim choose a religion other than Islam? The answer is yes, they can, because the Quran says, "Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion," [Quran, 109:6], and, "Whosoever will, let him believe, and whosoever will, let him disbelieve," [Quran, 18:29], and, "There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is distinct from error," [Quran, 2:256].These verses from the Quran discuss a freedom that God affords all people. But from a religious perspective, the act of abandoning one's religion is a sin punishable by God on the Day of Judgment. If the case in question is one ! of merely rejecting faith, then there is no worldly punishment! . If, however, the crime of undermining the foundations of the society is added to the sin of apostasy, then the case must be referred to a judicial system whose role is to protect the integrity of the society. Otherwise, the matter is left until the Day of Judgment, and it is not to be dealt with in the life of this world. It is an issue of conscience, and it is between the individual and God. In the life of this world, "There is no compulsion in religion," in the life of this world, "Unto you your religion and unto me my religion," and in the life of this world, "He who wills believes and he who wills disbelieves," while bearing in mind that God will punish this sin on the Day of Judgment, unless it is combined with an attempt to undermine the stability of the society, in which case it is the society that holds them to account, not Islam. All religions have doctrinal points that define what it is to be an adherent of that religion. These are divine injunctions that form th! e basis of every religion, but they are not a means for imposing a certain system of belief on others by force. According to Islam, it is not permitted for Muslims to reject their faith, so if a Muslim were to leave Islam and adopt another religion, they would thereby be committing a sin in the eyes of Islam. Religious belief and practice is a personal matter, and society only intervenes when that personal matter becomes public and threatens the well-being of its members. In some cases, this sin of the individual may also represent a greater break with the commonly held values of a society in an attempt to undermine its foundations or even attack its citizenry. Depending on the circumstances, this may reach the level of a crime of sedition against one's society. Penalizing this sedition may be at odds with some conceptions of freedom that would go so far as to ensure people the freedom to destroy the society in which they live. This is a freedom that we do not allow since pr! eservation of the society takes precedence over personal freedoms. This! was the basis of the Islamic perspective on apostasy when committed at certain times and under certain circumstances.

Carmelina Enoch: the central believe in Islam is to surrounder to God and worshiping him alone without feeling of any proud or arrogant toward him. so the center is { Worship none but Allah(God) alone } this is the key to enter this religion. then comes the five pillars that carry this religion1- witness that none has the right to worship but God alone, and Muhammad is his massenger. 2- do your prayers in time (the prayers help to keep remember God and refresh your faith)3- give zakah (a required charity) for the sake to be forgiving, and help to solve many other problems. 4- fasting Ramadan (make a person get closer to God)5) visit Mecca (this is a special place where you have to visited once in a life time, and God knows about its secrets)..! .Show more

Robt Heemstra: Well islam is a religon. The word Islam actually means submission to Allah (God). The five pilliars are Faith Zakat Salat Fasting and Hajj.Faith is just to beleive in Allah and the Prophet and the angels and the last day of judjement and his book.Zakat is Charity and is the act of giving money to the poor. on a basis. Salat is! praying to Allah 5 times a day.Fasting is going with out food or drink! from dusk till dawn (or is it the other way around?). 1 month a year.Hajj is a pilgrimage that Muslims must make at least once in their lifetime if they have the means (money). Now being a muslim you must put all of these things into the way you live. That's why people say Islam is a way of life not a religon because the things you do make your life change.Actually I find one omes with all the rest. I was personally born Muslim so I guess I t was easier for me. But my mother wasn't and she said her First year of fasting was the hardest. But it was much easier when she was around other people who where fasting. I think that was the hardest thing for her yet. Danyell Rowback: -If the Universe needs a creator, why doesn't god? If god doesn't need a creator, why does the Universe ?-Of course not.

Bibi Tyron: What exactly do you mean? Culturally, most Islamic societies take a dim view of apostasy (although most jurists do not view it as a punishable crime, despite some of the hackneyed claims above). But a 14-year-old might not be viewed as being of an age to have accepted Islam, and if this is the case then it cannot be viewed as apostasy. At any rate, it would depend which country and which region you lived in. I would recommend discretion, but I wouldn't particularly fear judicial sanction. Not, at any rate, unless we are talking about one of the crazier Shari'a jurisdictions, like Saudi Arabia. Saudi Islam is pretty much insane.

Dominic Sciancalepore: Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim - In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the MercifulHello. Several other contributors have done an excellent job of describing the five fundamental pillars of action that a Muslim practices in ! his or her life. The central beliefs of Islam are six, and are as foll! ows:The first pillar is belief in One God, Allah, Master and Sustainer of the universe. We believe that no one is worthy of being prayed to, supplicated to, bowed to in worship, or otherwise worshipped, other than He. We believe that no one else had any hand in the creation. The second pillar is belief in the Books. These books, namely, the Torah of Moses, the Injeel of Jesus, and the Qur'an of Muhammad, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon them, were originally divinely revealed by Allah to those Messengers to serve as a guide for mankind. The Books are the instruction manual for life; the Messengers are the ones who explain and enlarge on what is taught there. The Third Pillar is belief in the Prophets and Messengers. We believe that Allah sent prophets and messengers to the tribes of mankind throughout the history of mankind, from the time of Aadam, until the time of the final prophet Muhammad. Some of their names we know, such as Abraham, Ishaaq, Ismaeel, Y'acou! b, Musa, Haruun, Da'wood, Isa, and Muhammad. Others there are that we don't know, many thousands and more. The fourth pillar is belief in the Angels. The angels are creatures that are not the spirits of the dead, but rather they are a completely separate creature than humans. They are created of light. The angels are perfectly obedient servants of Allah, doing His will and fulfilling their tasks. They have no free will. The fifth pillar is belief in a Day of Judgment. There will be a time that only Allah knows, when all of mankind will be resurrected and will face Judgment. After this time the humans and the jinn will be either in Paradise or Hellfire. The sixth pillar is belief in Allah's Qadar, which is to say belief in the Divine Decree, that everything happens with Allah's knowledge and permission, both the good and evil thereof. These are the pillars of belief. If a person is lacking in belief of one or more of the pillars, he is not to be considered a Muslim. For! instance, if a person believes in everything but does not believe in a! Day of Judgment, then he is completely not a Muslim. There is no "pick and choose" for these pillars. If one does believe in these pillars, then he is a Muslim and it becomes incumbent upon him to fulfill the five pillars of Islamic practice, namely, what has been already described by the other writers: Shahadah, openly declaring one's faith, Prayer, Fasting, Zakah, and making the Hajj, the Pilgrimage to Makkah, if possible.I pray that Allah guides you to that which is best in this world and the next. Now, the shahada is probably hardest to fullfill, because in order to believe it and follow it, you must follow what god has ordered for you to do, and the evils he wants you to stay away from. Natal! ya Sydney: Matter came from light. The Big Bang started as a singularity and quantum fluctuations caused expansion. No, I do not believe in Jesus.

Leisa Brodnex: Yes, of course. You have total freedom. But in matters of stripping, indulging in sex out of wed lock, adultery, drinking, drugs, incest, and all sinful acts done in the name of freedom is not allowed in Islam. Because it is revealed by the true God. Whereas as western culture is influenced by Satanic rituals, they do all the forbidden things in the name of freedom.

Dorris Homola: from what i've gathered, her fruit isn't all that forbidden. in fact it's free for the taking.this question wins. look at how seriously it's been taken.

Fred Caminita: It's a Schmeckyfruit!

Melissa Lavallie:

Letitia Bigelow: Kitt Kat bars!

Alane Antes: Honeydew melons?

Star Gollnick: Youre asking if there is a secular freedom to change religion in countries that are theocracies. Of course! there isnt. You are punished by death. What good is a theocracy if your subjects are bailing out of the belief system? Does the Bible not call anyone who doesnt agree with it a "fool"?

Boyce Gilhooly: You mean raised in the religion? That is a really good question. I would say there is less freedom than if you converted into Islam and had somewhat an Atheist family. If you were raised in Islam, this means your family expect you to believe in God and practice their teachings and if you deny God you will be cast out of the family because you do not practice their teachings and belief and also God asked Muslim to raise their children as good Muslims. So for example, in some Muslim countries a women can't be seen with colourful clothes or she should be wearing a veil for the reason that men are very pesky in those areas. For example, in my Muslim country, back in the 1900s women weren't allowed education. This is culture and NOT religion. In addition to that women wore cl! othes that looked rather attractive and wasn't considered a practice of! the Muslim faith because men let their women dress openly. Eventually, a women was educated by the Westerners and learnt Islam and called out for women's rights, and said that a women should be covering her hair and her body and be modest and has every right to education. Do you know what the men did? They told her that she had no right to say this just because she was educated by a Western society. How lame olden times were. However, if you converted to Islam in a ery lenient family they can't stop you or persuade you and you can learn Islam freely by freedom of choice. Islam teaches that a Muslim child will start to be judged from when they turn 16. Others say, when they reach maturity and know whats right or wrong. But if you were raised in Islam you can hide your freedom by experience. I have tried many things, and for a period i was an Atheist, a proper one. Frankly enough, i started learning about Islam and realised that i knew hardly anything about Islam!!! Just like! hardly any Christians in my school i have met knew much about Christmas!!. So then i started to practice Islam my own way and expressed to God/Allah my love to him my own love. And alhamd'Allah its going on well. But remember, without experience, you will never learn anything new.

Branden Roddick: Islam is a religion divided in two sects Shiites and Sunni's. Shiites believe the twelfth imam fell down a well, and will return whenever the entire world turns over to Islam. All Islams believe that they should conqeour the world and destory the infidels or those opposed to the Islamic faith. Their goal is to destroy Israel (little Satan) and United States ( The great Satan) and to bring about an Islamic revolution by Jihad (holy war). The religion of Islam is more of a political system than a religion. Sunnis believe that everyone should fufill the 5 pillars of faith for salvation. They worship Allah as God, and Muhammad was there messanger and the Quaran is there holy te! xt.Islam is not a religion of peace, until everyone converts to Islam..! ..Show more

Susan Rambo: Can anyone explain to me what are the central beliefs of Islam is? How exactly are they reflected in the Five Pillars? Do you think one of them are easiest to full-fill then the others? This is so confusing to me. I just don't understand all of this.

Ivan Velazquez: You are free to practice any religion under Islamic law, whatever your age! Provided, of course, you've not been lured, bribed, coerced, or misguided into embracing! that faith, in which case, the Sharia (Islamic law) will intervene.

Perfectionnez d’abord votre trait.
