Freddy Shutler: For Florida it's probably the norm. It's good to have a grovel board for small, sh*tty conditions down there. If it makes you feel any better, that's what Kelly Slater learned to surf on.
Leontine Kreitz: No. they sound like a storm or at least a low pressure system is off-shore. They are surf-able, and with waist to chest high sets, you can probably have some fun. If it is really a 'washing machine' chop, and the weather is cool, however, it might be a better day to go fishing.Florida, like all of the east coast, has very 'fickle' conditions. Don't believe anybody who tells you that you don't get good surf here. But, it is very inconsistent, and some days, you just tale what you can get....Show more
Efren Clankscales: No. Most Florida surfers will not go out of their way to surf that, unless it's been a long time since there has been a swell, then they might give it a shot.
