Alvaro Oare: i would suggest to you a Sony- DCR HC38 mini DV format.but inorder to get ur recording you would need a fire - wire and a fire - wire input on ur pc .any camera in that range of options will be fine. even if its a miniDVD 1- 40 X optical zoom .2- ** Carl Zeiss Lens .3- A DVi output. and ull need a tripod for the opening ceramony and tell the camera handelar , some basic camera tips.like not to film a dark spot if theres to much light from the back, allways keep the heavy light behined him. basics of photography.Congrats ;)...Show more

Frederic Engellant: I don't know where you are, so I can't suggest a price. Entry level MiniDV camcorders are usually a good idea, but I'd expect there to be a lot of indoor / low light recording. Entry level camcorders aren't great in those conditions. Have a look at the Canon HV30 - it takes great video in all conditions, it records in high definition and you can keep the tapes for years.

Jodie Capella: sony S! R200E is cool, and u had better prepare several batteries, want to know where to buy? http://www.batterylink.us LOL...
