Porfirio Gartland: Anything that has to do with visual effects is apart of Graphics. Whether it is Drawing, animation, GFX, etc. Animation is one of the most used part of graphics for games, videos, virtual anime, creating Gifs in photoshop, etc. Now if you are talking about graphics like in books it will still mean the same, Animation is basically drawing and creating an artistic view on how a scene is played out. Like a comic strip.. so either way Animation is a big part of Graphics. If you wanted to get more specific. Animation is only apart of the "Visual Graphics". There is also a type of graphics that just consist of detail writing that displays "graphic" imagery in the mind when reading a book, script, storyline.Sorry that this wasn't to detailed.
