May Stands: Jesus is a living testimony of how we are suppose to walk. How he talked with God is how close we should be before God doing the fathers will. Jesus was not just God he was an example of how man and woman should be. We all should be doing the fathers will not our own and servants of the most high God. Only by doing his will does this life have meaning, going your own way and not surrendering your all unto him will only bring death, as we all die and will be forgotten. By doing his will there is much treasures and joy for he lives forever and remembers what you did on earth.

If he is a Muslim from overseas, and is set in his ways, then yes, he might just say, to her, that she can't see you if you are a non Muslim. oh, especially if he's from overseas, the culture shock would scare h! im and he would want his girl only being with a guy from his culture. It's not a Muslim thing, or a middle eastern thing, it's a culture shock thing, people don't like the cultures they didn't grow up in, and they feel their children would be "corrupt" acting like that culture.I am a Muslim Arab, and even I have problems dating Muslim Arabic girls. Either they sneak behind their parents back, and their parents are so strict it's not even worth it, or they are respectful to their parents, and won't even talk with a guy on the phone, even if they are together.I mean, there is a million possibilities. maybe her dad is more liberal, or doesn't care. maybe he is oblivious, and won't notice you are together. maybe you can parade around as just friends or something.but I really don't think you have to worry about him doing something to you. You can just stop talking to her if he does begin acting crazy.

Willa Holte: Jesus prayed to his father while he as still on earth. He now sits at his father, Jehovah's right hand, with direct communication.That said, Jesus does not exactly TRANSMIT our messages to God. He said to pray in his name. If I go to some powerful official and say so and so referred me (acted as a go between) is that person delivering my message or did he or she simply act as a go between? As imperfect creatures, we have no standing to approach God directly. So when he pray in his son's name, we are basically invoking him as a mediator. I hope that helps.
