They're a school in LA geared towards kids and teens.For the audition, wear something that captures your personality, something that you wear regularly. Don't try to wear your best clothing that you usually wear for ONLY fancy events.Just be yourself. Interviews are conversations where they can get your personality. Have a conversation with them. Ramon Dahlheimer: auditions do not cost anything other than your trans. cost to get there. anyone charging youfor! an audition or to tell you where they are is a scam. if you get some acting training anddo some reading and research you will know what to do and expect when you get on auditionsand how show biz. works. usually legit places don't hold auditions on the weekends. justbe carefull you don't get talked into some expensive acting classes, which is probably whatthey will try to do....Show more

Christy Tirabassi: My son goes here. I have two things to tell you about Macker. FIRST GOOD: I have 3 children who audtioned an only he was accepted. They gave them a small little script to remember and he was very enthusiasctic about it. So they only wanted to accept him. Also we have no credit cards we pay cash all the time. They worked with us as far as a down payment and monthly payments. Their are students that go there who have been in big name movies like Santa Clause 3...... BAD: but they got the parts on their own. Macker does not get you parts, jobs or any sort of work, they! just give you classes like you can get at a rec. center or wh! at not. I have no idea what sort of things my son does in class they never keep you updated informed or anything like that. They keep you informed of when you need to pay. That is the only time we ever get calls or info from them. They are always having different teachers because the teachers that come thru get jobs and quit. My son does not seem motivated when he comes out of class. We are paying a total of almost $3,000 for the 2 years of classes!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is what my son wanted to do. We signed a contract so we need to keep paying and have him in the classes but are unhappy with Macker. They should not be your first choice, also they have had a complaint against them with the B.B.B. but they resolved the matter so again, keep looking....Show more
