That would be an unbelievable amount of data and it would be impossible to store. Most cell phone companies do keep a short history of text messages though. They have to delete this storage after a short period because of the am! ount of data.They do keep a history of all calls made and messages sent or received. They just don't record the actual call and message. I have been trained in cell phone forensics and the public does not understand cell phone activity at all. Recording these calls would be just like recording your home phone, which is a land line. Cell phone go to a land line after they reach a tower anyway.
