I am 17 and I already wasted a year (12), I should really be doing my A2 right now, but I have no interest what so ever in the subjects that I have chosen. So I am thinking of just doing 1 subject that I'd enjoy. My parents both disagree with me, but hey ho.answers 1:A dental assistant job is a good job, a dental hygenist is even better if you want to make more money. Working with a dentist is a pleasant job, low stress (or should be), and can have very nice hourse to work and other benefits. If you are interested in the health industry, then I would encourage you to continue with what you would like to do.answers 2:If it's what you want to do, you should really go for be! ing a dentist. Why? You don't make that much money being a dental assistant, you don't need a degree for it I don't think (because my friend doesn't have one and works as one, so I think its just an assurance so people will hire you instead of having to train you) so I think you'd be wasting time and money in college and you'd be better off just putting in that extra effort to be a full-on dentist.
