Marcellus Exler: You are mixing up two separate things -- the TiVo Series 3 and TiVo's joint development with Comcast of new Comcast DVR services.1) There is no specific date yet for when the TiVo Series 3 will be available other than later this year. Speculation is September / October time frame. But, given all the slips this year in the consumer electronics arena (Windows, Blu-Ray, HD-DVD, ...) who knows for sure?The TiVo Series 3 is not Comcast specific. This, in part, due to deals that the cable companies have with Motorola and/or Scientific Atlanta/Cisco. This TiVo service will most likely be a premium service for Comcast customers.
